First off............

for some reason i am not sure of i can read blogs but cannot post a comment on most of them which is a bummer....speaking of that i am happy for kelly that she is going to get to go to the concert. we all have people we like who others do not like. wow has it been a wild few weeks with the storm we had here! i lost mine for seven days! i am so thankful and grateful that mom had hers so she made me dinners and we would go out to eat and also just for gracie and i to get out some...there are still MANY trees down and such. i lost every thing in the fridge and freezer. again mom was so helpful in buying me some staples till the first of the month. my friend eleanor was so sweet she was making pot pies for her kids and to take to two friends of her who are getting over an operation so she made one for me too! it is so good and is for sure a few meals since it is the size of a family one made in a pie pan. i do not mind pbj's at all yet it is a nice change....she even brought me some grapes and a loaf of bread and was going to bring me some peanut butter but her daughter got into it but that is alright because i already have that and put the bread in the freezer since i already having one...does anyone else like frozen grapes? i do it is almost like a treat to me with them being icey and yummy. i eat fruit better when it is really cold and kind of icey.
gracie did o.k. during the storm she was bothered some when i had to use a flashlight at night and she also i think wondered why i was going to bed early for me since i would for the most part go to bed when it got dark. one kind of new thing for me is i am spending more time in prayer and i try to have it when i wake up to spend a good amount of time praying not just for me but for lots of people and situations i know that i am to be spending more time in intercessory prayer and am trying to be faithful in that.
i was surprized and blessed and felt loved by God the way I got thru the storm and no lights and that mom and i were safe because we did not think it was as bad as it was so we were out driving in it! the wind was so fierce at times yet we were both surprized at all of the destruction that it caused. it was the first time in 100 years that it had happened. they say the wind gusts did not get so high to cause a tornado but one would think that it had been one. how has the weather been where you all live?
i can tell that i have missed blogging because i am so "chatty" so some lj's for today....homemade pot pie...yummy ate some for breakfast and for a early dinner....mom and i went and looked at washer and dryers today checked out a discount place but not much of a discount plus if we go to this other place they have 24 month payment plan...gracie is such a support and such a sweetie. i found out that vinager helps take away the smell and such if one cleans up dog messes and then the odors go away even the vinager one.has anyone tried that before?.....and not least nor last are my blogger buddies whom i miss much. i hope somehow i can figure out on some of the blogs to leave comments i guess other wise i will need to leave my comments to people on my blog. hope that you all have a good weekend....who knows i will most likely post again this weekend. take care and everyone remember to take some time to take care of yourselves.
